“Page-turner project” winners to be announced Jan. 3

Philip RoyCBC Radio One Cape Breton’s Information Morning will announce the successful entries in the Page Turner Project on air Thursday, January 3.

As many as 50 students in Cape Breton grades 7,8 and 9, will have the opportunity to take a writing workshop with Philip Roy, author of the best-selling Submarine Outlaw series and, of course, Blood Brothers in Louisbourg (CBU Press, 2012).

Sponsored by CBU Press and Information Morning, the worshops will take place at Malcolm Munro Jr. High School (Kenmount Drive, Sydney River) on January 17 and 18.
