Author Johnston on “Land and Sea” Oct. 14

A.J.B. JohnstonNova Scotian author A.J.B. Johnston will be on television this Sunday (Oct. 14), on an episode of Land and Sea, 12 noon on CBC. The episode “Saving Louisbourg” will afterward be archived for viewing from the Land and Sea website.

Johnston enjoyed a 30-plus-year career as a historian, most of that time at Louisbourg. He has more than a dozen books to his credit and hundreds of articles, most focusing on 18th-century French colonial history, for which he was invested as a Chevalier of Academic Palms by the government of France.

John recently turned his hand to fiction. CBU Press this fall published his first novel Thomas, A Secret Life, a historical fiction.
