The popular CBC Radio One feature Canada Reads returns to the airwaves February 11-14. This year the five celebrity panelists will pitch and defend one of five books representing one of five geographic regions of Canada. (Click here to link to the Canada Reads home page.)
Cape Breton book lovers enter the fray by holding a local version, with Sydney-area writers Paul MacDougall and Ken Chisholm, moderated by CBC’s Wendy Martin. The event is sponsored and hosted by the Old Sydney Society.
The CB Canada Reads conversation will take place Tuesday, February 12, 7 p.m. at the Old Sydney Society’s Centre for Heritage and Science (The Lyceum), 225 George Street, Sydney.
