Kudos to railroad historian Herb MacDonald, author of Cape Breton Railways: An Illustrated History (2012), for a great review published in the latest edition of SLS journal, the journal of the Stephenson Locomotive Society, the premier railway history society (founded in 1909).

The book is “an exemplar of how to publish a ‘definitive’ history.”
