Gaelic Review of Naughty Little Book of Gaelic

Naughty Little Book of GaelicThis isn’t your typical Gaelic book. It’s for those of you who’ve been wondering how to swear, or talk about drinking, smoking and fooling around in Gaelic. Michael Newton composed his Naughty Little Book of Gaelic with you in mind.

We’re hoping this book will be a welcome, exciting addition to the world of Gaelic studies. The online Gaelic magazine Dàna posted a review of it this week. The review is entirely in Gaelic, but the book is in both English and Gaelic. Here are some translated excerpts from the review:

“This naughty, entertaining book covers many topics. From end to end, I have never had so much fun and laughter from a book about Gaelic as I had inside these pages.”

“I have always been fond of the writings of Michael Newton and this playful and bold book only magnifies that. If you haven’t had a proper look at this book yet, ‘as sure as the horse has a penis,’ you will enjoy it.”

You can purchase the book directly from us or from your local independent bookstore.
