W. James MacDonald
Jim MacDonald has long been involved with the study of local and military history, in particular the history and recipients of the Victoria Cross. Jim was born and raised in Tarbot, Victoria County, Nova Scotia, and presently resides in Baddeck. He served with the Royal Canadian Engineers in Canada and Germany. His previous publications include In the Morning: Veterans of Victoria County (CBU Press) and The Road to Tarbot, both with Bonnie Thornhill, and of Patterson’s History of Victoria County (CBU Press).
