Elizabeth Beaton

Elizabeth Beaton, PhD, is a cultural geographer who teaches in the Community Studies Department at Cape Breton University where students learn to do research, to critically analyze and to intervene in their own communities. For the past several years Elizabeth has been researching the small farm in a global context, and her current project is based mainly in Inverness County and western Newfoundland.
