Reading the Qur'an in English
A recent review in the Journal of Religious History (June 2011) gives high marks to Robert Campbell’s Reading the Qur’an in English. Edward J. Tyler (Sydney, AU) calls it “…a most useful tool and to be recommended to the interested newcomer.” The book “is eminently clear, systematic, and successful. It is a book to be read….” Tyler goes on to say he “is very glad to have this book in his possession.”
(We’ll have to be sure he sees a copy of Women, War & Hypocrites!)
