Donna Morrissey workshop
Award-winning author Donna Morrissey is offering a six-hour workshop on January 15 at CBU, in cooperation with the Department of Languages and Letters.
Designed around finding “voice” and writing short fiction from one’s past, this is a one-day, six-hour workshop. Topics include finding narrative voice and voice of secondary characters using a fun, intriguing technique of tapping into one’s past and combining truth with fiction to create short stories. This workshop is designed for beginners; those looking for motivation and to enrich writing skills; as well as those wishing to play with words and right-brain thinking. The workshop is $85.00 and includes a five-page edit of work which will be assigned after workshop. Participants are responsible for their own lunch. To register email: morrisseyworkshops@bellaliant.net or donnamorrissey@ns.sympatico.ca; or, call Charlene (902)425-1120.
Donna will be joining Sandra Dunn as the featured authors at Governors Book Pub on MONDAY, January 16. This is an exciting development and note the change in nights for Authors With Glasses.
Governors Book Pub is sponsored in part by CBU Press.
