Boxing play to kick-off national meet

Paul MacDougall’s play about Cape Breton boxing legend “Rock-a-bye” George Ross will be staged this Sunday evening, Jan. 8, at the Membertou Trade & Conv. Centre. The ringside dinner theatre will feature a roast beef dinner and the play Rockabye Baby beginning at 7 p.m. (play at 8 p.m.) The event is being staged by the 2012 National (Senior) Elite Boxing Championships (www.boxingweek2012.com).
The play, directed by Todd Hiscock and starring Ken Chisholm and Nick Sobol, has won rave reviews from all audiences and is sure to please this one. Break a leg Paul et al.!
