Poetry month at Governors Book Pub
April is poetry month. In honour of this, Authors with Glasses (Tuesday, April 19, 6:30 p.m.) at Governors Book Pub will have a special “poetry dust-up” in addition to the regular open stage which is so often dominated by great poetry. Guest emcee has resurrected some his best – if unrequited – opening lines and challenges anyone and everyone to turn them into poems on the spot.
