Immigrants welcomed “selectively”: Q&A with Evie Tastsoglou

The The Warmth of the WelcomeAtlantic Books Today, on-line, recently (March 22, 2016) published an interview with Evangelina Tastsoglou (Saint Mary’s University), lead editor of The Warmth of the Welcome: Is Atlantic Canada a Home Away from Home for Immigrants? (CBU Press 2015).

This book was a timely publication. It’s important that we understand our failures as well as our successes as a supposedly welcoming region, given the rhetoric around immigration of late.
