CBC scholarship from royalties
Congratulations to 17 year old Sally Getto, New Waterford, who is the 2014 recipient of the CBC Cape Breton Leadership Award scholarship. The scholarship comes from royalties earned from sales of the book, Getting it Done: Conversations With Cape Breton Leaders, by CBC Cape Breton radio personality Steve Sutherland (CBU Press, 2009).
