Joy A. Steele
JOY A. STEELE is a freelance writer from Sydney, Nova Scotia, who has had an interest in archaeology and the Oak Island mystery from a very young age. Whenshe was a child, one of her cousins was a diver who took part in the recovery of artifacts from the wreckage of Le Chameau near Louisbourg, and was fascinated by the find. Not long after that, she saw something about Oak Island on television that led to her interest in archaeology and geology. After earning a diploma in Mineral Technology from Cape Breton University, Joy switched to business studies and later worked in the communications field in Hong Kong. Returning to Cape Breton some years later, she resumed her research Oak Island and, after more than a dozen years and countless hours of primary and secondary research, Joy now shares her findings with the world.
